Diane Turner

Obituary of Diane Estelle Turner

Diane Estelle Turner, nee Klimkewicz

Born 07/24/1950 in Saginaw, MI to the late Vincent and Stella Klimkewicz

Diane is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Kuhns, brother David Klimkewicz, and sisters Gayle Vance and Marcy Hartung, her granddaughter Anouk Kuhns, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Diane loved spending time in nature, feeding and observing birds, squirrels and chipmunks, hiking for miles every day, and cross-country skiing in winter. She adored dogs, preferring them to humans most of the time. She loved to read, especially poetry, and she wrote beautifully. Diane was shy in social situations, but those who knew her well were treated to her goofy sense of humor, sharp wit, and thoughtful observations. She was privately very spiritual, raised Catholic, experiencing the Divine most profoundly through her communion with nature.

A celebration of life will take place in July 2026.

In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to Michigan Nature Association or Michigan Animal Welfare Foundation – Saving animal organizations in our community.
