Obituary of Eric Lee Smith

Our good friend, son, husband and brother, Eric Lee Smith left this world on December 31, 2025 and entered a better galaxy at the age of 55. He will be so missed by his wonderful, caring "Lovey" Stacy Marie Vasold Smith of 19 years, and his buddy Wookie. He too will miss his dad Eugene Smith (Pam), his mom Phyllis Harper, brother Bryan, his son Wraith, sister April and David, Tammie, Christine, and extended families, including many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He also leaves his mom-in-law Debbie Vasold, bro-in-law Chris Vasold (Kandy) and their family and friends. Eric leaves behind many friends, Dano, Randy, Danny, Dylan, and all the “Beach Rats”                                     

He was predeceased by his grandparents, father-in- law Mike Vasold, uncle Mark Smith, and good friend Kevin.

Eric was an Electrician by trade and enjoyed the IT world and fishing. He was very proud to have served in the Army from 1989 to 1992 as a Patriot Operator and Systems Mechanic,and had received many medals and pins. He was in the reserves for 5 years, but was still willing to help out Uncle Mark and the Veteran Honor Guard. Eric had his troubles, and he tried his best to work through it all and remedy. He is now resting Peacefully, Amen.
