Eric Michael Levengood

January 7, 1974 – January 11, 2026

Eric Michael Levengood, age 52, passed away on January 11, 2026. He was born on January 7, 1974.

Eric’s favorite season was summer. He truly came alive in the warm weather and spent as much time as possible outdoors. He loved being near the water, fishing whenever he had the chance, and enjoying the peace that came with long days outside. The Fourth of July was especially meaningful to him. Each year, Eric proudly put on his own fireworks display, one that became a tradition and was known to be as impressive as professional shows.

By trade, Eric was a painter, a skill he took pride in throughout his working life.  Eric loved his children very much, and they were always important to him.

He is survived by his loving children and stepchildren: Mary (Kyle) Levengood, Riley Levengood, Anthony (Ashley) Wilkie, Anthony (Brooke) Gale, Alura (Cody Collier) Gale, Heather Gale, and Brenda Gale; and his grandchildren: Nathaniel Wilkie, Elliot Collier, and Rowen Becker.  He is also survived by his sister, Sara Daugherty; and his nephews, Richie (Alexis) Diehl and Collin Sayers.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Penny Levengood; his son, Hayden Levengood; and his grandparents, John and Ruth Levengood.
