Obituary of Paul Francis Goslin

Paul F. Goslin, age 68, of Unionville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, surrounded by his family after a long and courageous battle with cancer. 

Paul was born in Cass City on December 12, 1957, to Aloysius and Eva (King) Goslin. A proud graduate of USA High School, Class of 1976, he married the love of his life, Diane (Kata) Goslin, on April 22, 1989, sharing 37 wonderful years together. 

Paul owned and operated Paul’s Service and Market for many years, a family business previously owned by his father, Al. In early 2000, he began a rewarding career at Michigan Sugar as a crew leader mechanic, where he had the privilege of working alongside his two sons for many years. He retired in December 2021. 

A devoted family man, Paul treasured spending time with his loved ones, especially his grandchildren. He was a passionate Detroit Tigers fan, rarely missing a game.  Whether at home painting, woodworking, feeding the birds, golfing, bowling, or fishing, he enjoyed engaging in his many hobbies. 

Paul is survived by his wife, Diane (Kata) Goslin; children Erika (Josh) Sakon, Justin (Charristen) Goslin, Jason Goslin; grandchildren Amiah Sakon, Laiken and Brooks Goslin and Colton and Taylor Goslin; siblings Virginia (Terry) Vanhoost, Danny (Teri) Goslin, Mike Goslin, Wanda (Goslin) Green, Duane (Dawn) Goslin, Diane Goslin, Lloyd (Maria) Goslin, and Mary Auman; his parent-in-laws Ed and Carole Kata; sister-in-law Sue Smith; and many nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Aloysius (Eva) Goslin; sister Sharon Herman; brother-in-law Marty Auman; nephew Bryan Goslin; brother-in-law Curtis Smith; and nephew Timothy Smith. 

Visitation will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church in Sebewaing on Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM. A luncheon will be held at the American Legion Hall in Sebewaing after the service.
