Obituary of Michelle Fortin
Michelle Fortin, age 50 of Flint Michigan passed away suddenly on January 11, 2026.
Michelle was born May 30, 1975 in Bay City Michigan to Dennis and Mary Wright and was a lifelong Michigan resident. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her cat.
Michelle is survived by her husband, Scott Fortin of Flint; Melissa Evitts (Brock Evitts) and Tim Wright (Lynnette Wright) of Harrison; her father, Dennis Wright; nephews, Jacob Combs, Ryan Combs, Zeth Gosselin, and Austin Wright; and nieces, Kaitlyn Wright and Kristy Gosselin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eric Schmidt; her mother, Mary Wright; her grandmothers, Flora Mayberry and Irene Wright; and grandfathers, Norbert Mayberry and Edgar Wright.
