Obituary of Timothy John Conway

Timothy John Conway, passed away on January 19, 2026, at the age of 67, due to cardiac arrest in Midland, Michigan. Born on June 17, 1958, in Detroit, Michigan, Tim grew into a man known for his quick wit, love for the outdoors, and a remarkable affinity for numbers. Tim spent his formative years at Jarrod W. Finney High School, where he excelled in mathematics, laying the groundwork for his keen analytical skills. He continued his education at a local community college, further honing his talents and preparing for a successful career. Tim dedicated many years of his life working as a shear operator at Fabtronics, where he was instrumental in creating automotive prototypes. His precision and expertise were not only a testament to his work ethic but also to his passion for innovation and craftsmanship.

A devout Christian, Tim lived his faith through his actions, showing kindness and compassion to those around him. He was a man who believed in the strength of human spirit and the power of love. An avid hunter and fisherman, Tim found solace and joy in the tranquility of nature. His ability to navigate the wilderness with ease was matched only by his respect for the environment and the creatures within it. With every trek into the woods or cast into the water, he embraced the beauty of the world around him, teaching his children to do the same.

Tim's legacy is carried on by his loving family, which includes his sister, Kelly Conway Wright; his sister, Cathy Conway Cassabon; his son, Ryan Conway; his son, Cody Conway; and his daughter, Savannah Tabaccki. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Conway; his mother, Donna Gene Piornack Conway; his brother, Patrick Conway; and his brother, Sean Conway. Each family member holds dear the memories of Tim's unwavering support, his generous heart, and his contagious laughter.

Tim's life was a testament to the strength of family bonds, the joy of lifelong learning, and the fulfillment one finds in following one's passions. As we bid farewell to a man who was both a beacon of light and a pillar of strength, we remember his unwavering dedication to his loved ones, his craft, and his faith. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire all who knew him.  In honoring Tim's journey, we reflect on the impact he made on each life he touched. His story does not end here, for he lives on in the cherished moments we hold close to our hearts. Tim's life was a beautiful mosaic of love, commitment, and adventure, and his memory will forever be etched in the annals of our family's history.
