Obituary of Gary Lee Voit

Gary Lee Voit of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on February 6, 2026, at the age of 50.  Gary was a big man, at six feet six, with an even bigger heart, who would give his friend his last dime without hesitation.  He loved animals deeply, especially his dogs, JD and Bear, and his cats, Oreo and Taffy, who were a big part of his life.  He loved gaming on his Xbox, bowling and playing pool, hobbies that brought him relaxation and good times with his friends. He enjoyed the simple moments of life with an occasional Budweiser to unwind.                                                                                                         

Gary is survived by his son, Austin Voit; his sister, Loucinda Fuzi and her family; and his father, Edward Voit. He was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Voit, and will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family and friends.

Cremation has taken place.  A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Michigan Ave. Baptist Church, 203 S. Michigan Ave., Saginaw, Michigan, Visitation will be at church prior to the service, from 10:00 AM until service time. A luncheon will follow the service in the fellowship hall.
