Obituary of Terry Wayne Johnson

Terry Johnson, a dedicated outdoorsman and true friend to nature, passed away on February 13, 2026, at age 72, surrounded by family. Known for his love of hunting, fishing, and camping, Terry spent his happiest hours in the woods, waiting patiently for a trophy buck or casting a line into his favorite river. A hardworking man, Terry brought the same focus to his professional life that he did to his passions on the jobsite. Whether teaching his children and grandchildren to bait a hook, sharing stories around a hunt, or simply enjoying the silence of nature, he embraced life with a hands-on, adventurous spirit.

He is survived by his beloved family, including the love of his life of 39 years, Autumn; his children, Jessie Brown (Stacey) and Dawn Cichoracki (Justin); and grandchildren, Madison, Zach, Jack, Faith, Hope, and Caitlin who will forever cherish memories of an amazing grandfather; many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly; and siblings, Vickie (Ken) Bunting and Don (Darla) Wild. Terry was predeceased by his brother, Ed Johnson; as well as parents, Frank and Betty Johnson. He also had a special place for his best friend Jeff Tucker and his trusty companion Rosco.
