Obituary of Clifford Louis Green, Jr.

Clifford Louis Green Jr., affectionately known as Cliff, passed away on February 9, 2026, in Midland, Michigan, with his loving family by his side. Born on January 23, 1951, in Flint, Michigan, Cliff's spirit and infectious laughter filled the lives of all who knew him. His heart, as full of love as it was, gave out after 75 years of a life well-lived.

Cliff was a devoted husband to his wife, Michelle Green, with whom he shared 53 beautiful years of marriage. Together they built a family founded on love, laughter, and the occasional John Wayne movie marathon. He was a cherished father to his son Chad Green, his son Clifford Green IV (and wife Christina), and his daughter Maryjane Green. His role as a grandfather was one he held with great pride, leaving behind a legacy through his grandchildren Tiffany, Driston, Clifford Green V, and Lillyanna. Known for his spirited nature, Cliff could light up any room with his quick wit and hearty chuckle.

Cliff's love for the roar of engines and the thrill of the races was evident to anyone who spent a Saturday with him at Sliver Lake. Mud truck races were sacred times when he would cheer on his favorite drivers and share his passion for the sport with anyone who would listen.

His memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known him, and his stories will be told with smiles for generations to come.
