My dad wasn’t selfish with his time, his talent, or his treasure. Even when time was limited and even when he was tired, he always made space to help people, animals, anyone who needed him.
I hope he’s remembered not for the loud moments or the grand gestures, but for the quiet, steady goodness he showed every single day. The small acts. The phone calls. The showing up. The helping hand when no one else saw.
I’m so grateful for the years we had, for the conversations, the visits, and the love we shared even living so far apart. And when I see my boys being helpers, I know he had a hand in passing that gift on to them.
That’s how I hope everyone remembers my dad, not for the noise of life, but for the quiet kindness that defined it.
