Obituary of Jared Allen Call

Jared A. Call of Saginaw, Michigan passed away on Tuesday evening, February 24th, 2026, with his family by his side. Jared was 44 years old. He was born on December 8, 1981, in Saginaw to Glen and Deborah (Baranic) Call. Jared possessed the greatest gift of all, Love. Although Jared never could speak, he expressed his love with his gentle touch, wanting us to hold his hand, hug him or kiss him.

His eyes focused on us at times as if to say, "Thank you and I love you!"  There were those wonderful occasions where he would place his hands on our shoulders as we hugged him and we would dance. 

Jared especially enjoyed going for long car rides with the music blasting and rocking to his favorite tunes. He loved playing with his ball and ripping paper and spending hours in his bath. He loved driving to New Jersey and getting the love and attention from his sister and nephews.

Jared was mentally delayed as a result of Tuberous Sclerosis & Autism. At 3 yrs of age, he started the Millet Learning Center and was there until the age of 26. He then attended Community Ties North until COVID in 2020. We certainly have been blessed by Jared. We cannot believe there could be a greater love than what God has given us with both our children.  

Surviving Jared are his parents Glen and Deborah Call, his wonderful sister Jennifer and her husband Brian Hamlet, and his nephews and nieces Lucas, Enzo and Milo Chacon, Kate, Reese and Brian Hamlet as well as many other family members and friends.

Preceding Jared in death were his grandparents Bernard and Stella Call, Andrew and Blanche (Madison) Baranic. 

Special thanks to his care givers, Sandra Burrell, Shawn Green, Patty Samuels, Marilyn Patton, Cindy Nash and Kendle Scheffler. Thanks to Dr. Louis Byrnes, family physician, Dr. Franz at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and their supportive staff and Saginaw County Mental Health staff Patty, Danielle, Via, the Stewart Wilson CPA firm and Landmark Nurses services. Thanks to Hart-to-Hart Hospice for their great support and professional services with special thanks to his nurse Michelle Lagalo. 

FUNERAL. A funeral liturgy will be held at St. John Vianney Catholic Church on McCarty Road. Father Bert Gohm will officiate. Service will be held on Saturday, March 14th with visitation starting at 9:30 a.m., Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. and lunch in the Fellowship Hall to follow.
