Obituary of Brad Lee Sage

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our brother, Brad Lee Sage, of Caro, Michigan. He peacefully departed from Covenant Health Medical Center in Saginaw on Thursday, March 5, 2026.

Born on September 21, 1953, in Flint, Michigan, Brad was the son of the late Bruce and Donna (Shaft) Sage. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Jim Sage, Susan Sage, and Verne Sage.

Brad graduated from Beecher High School and possessed remarkable talents as an artist, vocalist, and writer. During the Vietnam Conflict, he served as a Sargent in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1976.

He is survived by his daugher; son, Cary Sage; siblings, Grant (Lynne) Sage of Morrice, Michigan, Vicki Vasquez of Modesto, California, and Kelli Sage (John) Ferreira of Columbia, Tennessee. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A service is being planned at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly, Michigan 48442.  Complete arrangements will be announced shortly.
