Obituary of Mark Richard Chapple

Mark R. Chapple, 66, passed away on March 9, 2026, at his home in Grand Blanc, surrounded by family.

He was born July 27, 1959, in Flint, Michigan, to Richard D. and Beverly A. (Peterson) Chapple.

Mark graduated from Grand Blanc High School and lived a life grounded in the things he enjoyed most

Including time with his family and friends, the open road on a motorcycle, and the loyal companionship

of his beloved German Shepherds, Bo and Bear. Known for his generous spirit and easygoing nature,

Mark had a way of making people feel welcome. He was a kind, friendly presence, always ready with a

smile, a story, and good conversation.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Richard D. and Beverly A. Chapple.

He is lovingly remembered by his older brother, Drew (Karen) Chapple of Delon, his stepdaughter,

Casandra (Brent) Jansson, and grandson, Nicholas (Jessica) Persails; his nieces, Courtney Chapple

and Kelsey (Ray) Hyde; and his grandniece, Madelynn Hyde. He will also be deeply missed by many

extended family members and friends who shared in his life over the years.

The family is planning a memorial and celebration of Mark’s life on June 20, 2026, at Fenton United

Methodist Church, 119 S Leroy Street, Fenton, MI 48430. Family and friends are invited to an

11:00 a.m. service, followed by a meal and time to share memories.
