Obituary of Matthew Richard Janson

Matthew Richard Janson, age 69, of Saginaw (Frankentrost), Michigan passed away Friday, March 20, 2026 peacefully after a brief battle with cancer, on his terms with his family by his side.  Matthew was born January 20, 1957, in Saginaw, to the late, Aaron William (Buddy) and Mary Martha (Schrems) Janson. He graduated from Frankenmuth High School and worked in the construction and maintenance field. Matt enjoyed riding his Harley, tinkering on projects, and hanging with his buddies.

 Surviving are his twin sister, Marcia; brother-in-law, Richard Wilson; and many cousins and dear friends. Special thanks to the Hospice Care Team of Standish, Jim Reinbold and Nick Palmreuter. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
