David "Butch" Robinson

Butch was welcomed into his eternal home on April 6, 2026.  He passed away at Mid Michigan hospital in Midland at the age of 72.  Butch married his sweetheart Mary Pershon on August 1,1987, sharing 39 wonderful years together and being blessed with a daughter, Victoria Lynn.  

Butch enjoyed camping with his family and grandsons, loved sitting on his deck and enjoying nature.   He was a car hauler for Lease Way Motor Carrier for 39 years.    After retiring, he had a full-time job taking care of the "Honey Do List" provided by his wife and three sisters.

Butch was a Godly man and had a heart of gold.  He would do anything for anybody. If you needed help, Butch was your "go to guy".

Surviving  are his wife, Mary; his daughter, Victoria (Max) LaScola; his pride and joy, two grandsons, Maddox and Levi who called him Poppi; three sisters,  Sheila (Toot) Webber, Shelda (Jeanie) Keith, and Sharon (Miki) Curfman; nieces,  Sheila (Matt) Sundrla,  Jami (Clinton) Brown, and Kristina (Alexia) Rogers  and their families; sisters-in-law,  Joan, Debbie and Heather; brothers-in-law,, Bob (Dawn) Pershon and Steve (Sarah) Pershon.  

He was predeceased by his parents, Douglas and Shirley (Wood) Robinson; in-laws, Thomas and Chris Pershon; grandparents, Ralph (Da) and Helen (Flynn) Wood, and Emma (Wangler) Robinson; great-grandmother, Bessie Wood; brothers-in-law, Thomas Webber, Ronald Keith, Ken Faivor, and David Pershon; and two nephews, Ronnie and Dougie Keith.  

He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.
