Obituary of Sundy Lee Geiser
GEISER, SUNDY LEE (GOKEE)
Walked into her Heavenly home on April 8, 2026, surrounded by love at the tender age of 75 years young. Sundy was born on September 11, 1950, to Malcom Gokee and Evelyn (Gooding) DeGroat. She was raised by her loving mother & Leo DeGroat.
Sundy accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior at a very young age. Her strong faith remained the cornerstone of her life, a guiding light that continued to shine even through her illness. Her legacy will be remembered for her unwavering belief and spiritual strength. Sundy enjoyed crocheting, and baking, she will be forever remembered by her “Snickerdoodles & Chocolate Chip” Cookies
Sundy worked as a waitress for most of her life, serving others with grace and kindness throughout the communities of Saginaw and West Branch. Later in her life she started working in Retail Management, with Mr. Bulky’s, then with convenient stores.
She leaves to cherish her memory:
Her only beloved daughter and son-in-law, Christine (Chris) & Ronald Rich.
Her treasured grandchildren, Keri Johnson, Derek, Kelleigh, & Dayne Bentley, Samantha, & Jadeyn Moore; her chosen granddaughter Leigha McGowan.
Her adored great-grandchildren, Hunter, Chace, Klaira, Chet, Justin (JJ), Gemma, Sofiea, and Leo; her chosen great granddaughter Eleeana.
Her siblings, Pamela Saenz, Fredrick, Sister-in-law Dorothy DeGroat. Sundy leaves a host of nieces & nephews, also a close neighbor & dear friend Melissa Davidson.
Sundy was predeceased by her parents, Malcolm Gokee, Leo & Evelyn DeGroat.
Her cherished grandson, Dakota Moore; Her sisters, Blanche, Cheryl (Cheri), & Joanne; her brothers Darwin, Irv, Leo “Butch” DeGroat. Her brothers-in-law, Hurley, Herbert (Herb), & Norman (Norm).
