William “Bill” Franklin Rivet

March 30, 1964 – April 21, 2026

William “Bill” Franklin Rivet passed away peacefully on April 21, 2026, at Great Lakes Rehab, with his family by his side. 

Bill was born on March 30, 1962 to Roland Rivett Sr. and the late Barbara (Baker) Burns. He worked as a cook for many years and enjoyed baseball, hunting, and fishing. He was known for his love of the outdoors and the time he spent with family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by the love of his life fiancée, Pam Madar (2023), and his sister, Cheryl Ann Rivett (2025). 

Bill is survived by his father, Roland (Lois) Rivett Sr.; his son, William (Tammy) Rivett; his siblings, Ron (Sherry) Rivett and Cindy (Rivett) Warner.  Nieces and nephews: Chantelle Rivett, Jennifer Marrero, Gary Langley Jr., Bryan (Rebecca) Taylor, Krysti (Jeremy) Peters, Ricky (Heather) Haller, Matthew (Jackie) Haller, and Lukasz Warner. He is also survived by his close friends, Rod and Cindy Warren; many great-nieces and great-nephews, and his faithful companion and best friend, his dog, Lola.
