Obituary of Kellie Lynn Bodag
Kellie Bodag (Cinader), of Owosso, MI, passed away on Sunday April 26, 2026. Born July 26, 1964, in Royal Oak, Michigan. She lived a life deeply centered on family. She was a loving mother and devoted grandmother who found her greatest joy in her grandchildren. She shared an especially close and meaningful bond with her daughter Holly, with whom she spent much of her time, creating a connection that will always be cherished.
Kellie dedicated much of her life to caring for others. She worked in home health care and served as a nurse technician at Memorial Hospital, along with many other facilities and in-home settings. Her compassion and dedication were evident in the way she showed up for those in need. She also pursued her dream of becoming a registered nurse, attending nursing school and working toward that goal with determination.
She had a spirited and generous nature and found joy in life’s simple pleasures. Kellie loved bargain shopping and was always on the lookout for a good deal, often picking up little things just to give to someone else simply because she knew it would make them smile. She had a deep love for music, especially classic rock. Kellie also enjoyed getting out for an occasional trip to the casino.
Above all, Kellie carried a deep and lasting love for her father, Kenneth Cinader. Their bond meant so much to her, and his memory remained close to her heart throughout her life.
Kellie lived life on her own terms and enjoyed relaxing in her own way—whether that meant listening to music, unwinding with a beer, or enjoying a joint. She also had a well-known sweet tooth and loved chocolate in any form, with chocolate ice cream being a favorite.
She was predeceased by her father, Kenneth Cinader, and her brother, Kenneth Cinader (known by Tuffy).
She is survived by her daughters, Holly Witherell (Troy Haven) and their children, Aleigha and Troy; Carley Bodag (Robert Bennett) and their children, Averie and Colten; and Tabitha Bodag and her children, Jaylin and Alex. She is also survived by her brother, Clayton Cinader (Rose Cinader), and their 2 children, as well as her brother Tuffy’s two children.
Kellie will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who knew and loved her.
