Obituary of Daniel Thomas Ulman

Daniel T. Ulman, age 69, passed away with his dear friend by his side on May 6, 2026. He was born on November 7, 1956, in Bay City, where he lived throughout his life. He was the son of the late Burton L., Sr. And Evelyn C. (Malinowski) Ulman. 

Dan graduated from John Glenn High School in 1975. He enjoyed turkey hunting with his brothers, fishing, and was a loyal Michigan football fan. He was a lifelong animal lover who appreciated the simple comforts of home, especially the companionship of his cat, Angel.

He is survived by Suzette (LaFave) Ulman, with whom he shared two daughters, Sarah (Jeffrey) Henicle and Jessica (Kyle) Gerard. He also leaves behind his brothers, Ralph Ulman and Fred (Sandy) Ulman, his nieces and nephew, Allison (Matt) List, Andrea Nagy, April (Mitch) Mueller, and David (Stephanie) Ulman, as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to his parents, Dan was also preceded in death by his brother, Burton Ulman Jr.; his sister, Patricia Ulman; and his sister-in-law, Amy Ulman.
