Obituary of Scott Michael Zinn

Scott Michael Zinn, age 51, of Alma, Michigan, passed away on May 25, 2026, in Alma, Michigan.

Scott was born on January 12, 1975, in Alma, Michigan. He graduated from Alma High School in 1994 and spent many of his working years as a line worker for Alma Products, as well as working in various local restaurants over the years.

Scott enjoyed spending time with others and had a love for games of all kinds. He especially enjoyed playing dice games, board games, and card games, – with  Euchre being his favorite. He treasured the friendships he made with both staff and residents during his stay at Schnepp Senior Care & Rehab Center. He also had a passion for collecting knives. Above all, Scott was a Christian and a believer whose faith remained important to him throughout his life.

Scott is survived by his brother, Brian Zinn and wife, Jody; stepbrother, Donny Zinn and wife, Lisa; and stepsister, Tamara and husband, Chad. He is also survived by his nieces, Brianna Petersen and husband, Cullen, and Kelsie Zinn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Sherri (Fall) Zinn; and his grandmother, Dorothy (Losey) Fall.

Scott will be remembered for his sense of humor, the games he loved to play, and the connections he made with those around him. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
