Ida was born on May 2, 1932, in Bay City, Michigan. She was a woman of quiet strength, deep faith, and steady devotion, and she touched the lives of many with her loving, generous, and thoughtful nature. Her love extended to her great-grandchildren, Charlotte Huizar, Isaiah Huizar, and Hudson Huizar, each of whom brought happiness and pride to her life. Ida’s family was the center of her world, and she gave them her time, her care, and her unwavering affection.
Ida was predeceased by her parents, Lee and Edna DeFrain; husband, DeVere “Don” Woods; her daughter-in-law, Michelle Woods; and her granddaughter, Abigail Woods.
Ida enjoyed reading and watching television, and she appreciated the quiet comforts that made home a warm and peaceful place. These simple pleasures were part of the life she built with patience and gratitude. Whether she was spending time with family, enjoying a favorite book, or relaxing with a television program, Ida found contentment in everyday moments. Her life was a beautiful example of devotion, and she will be remembered for the love she gave so freely and the thoughtful way she cared for those around her.
