Obituary of Joshua Joseph Morrison

Joshua J. Morrison, known to many as “Josh”, passed away on June 22, 2026, in Bay City, Michigan, at the age of 39 from complications of kidney disease. He was born on August 6, 1986, in Shelbyville, Indiana, and lived a life that will be remembered with love, warmth, and gratitude by all who knew him.

He is survived by his son, Howard Albert Morrison; his sister, Lisa (Ken) Toth; his nieces  & nephews, Sue, Kendra & Seth Rhodes, and Shaylin Toth; his uncles, George Stephenson and Jerry  (Rosie) Stephenson; his aunt, Mary Stephenson; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Roland & Violet Morrison. He also held a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephew.  He especially treasured time spent with his son, and that bond was one of the greatest joys of his life.
