Obituary of Kathleen Marie David

Kathleen Marie David, age 72 of Clare passed away July 7, 2026 at
MyMichigan Medical Center in Midland,
MI. Kathy was born in Midland, MI on January 2, 1954 to Lola Scribner.
She married Donald K. David on
May 24, 1989.

Kathy is survived by her husband Donald David, Children Jason
(Stephanie) MacDonald, Katie Gutchak,
and Lance (Brooke) Macdonald. Grandchildren Maximo MacDonald, Micah
MacDonald, Blake Gutchak,
Connor MacDonald, Thomas Gutchak, and Declan MacDonald. Sister-law
Tammy David, nieces Julia and
Hannah David, and nephew Brian (Jenny) David. Step sons Toby, Tracy
and Brent David, Sister in laws
Jeanne Carncross and Lynn Mattis, Cousins Debbie Hepinstall, Colleen
Petroski, Diane Love, Katie Jones,
Gail Seamster, Colleen Lines, and Doug Scribner, Aunt Rose Scriber and
Leticia Scribner, and her life-long
partner in crime Kathy Poshen.

Kathy was predeceased by her mother Lola Scribner, Brother in- laws
Bob David, Lawrence Carncross,
and Steve Mattis, Aunt Margie Scribner, Uncle Kermit Scribner, Uncle
Thad Scribner, and Uncle Duane
Scribner.

Kathy was a member of the Clare Church of the Nazarene where she spent
years coordinating events
and helping others in their time of need. She enjoyed cooking for
large groups, gardening, her chickens,
the Smoky Mountains, sunrises, the moon, and spending time with her
friends and family. She was
also proud of her Irish heritage and loved all things Irish. She had a
tremendous heart for others and
was fiercely loyal. Her friend circle always had room for more. She
was a devoted wife, mother,
grandmother, and aunt. She was so proud of all of her family and
friends and loved them intently and
purposefully with regular words of encouragement dusted with just the
right amount of humor. She will
be missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at the Clare
Church of the Nazarene at
11:00 am on August 7, 2026 with luncheon to follow. Any memorial gifts
