Obituary of Phyllis Ann Lang

Phyllis Ann Lang, age 84, surrounded by her loving family, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, August 2. Born on November 17, 1941, Phyllis carried herself with grace and kindness, and she touched the lives of all who knew her. She was a woman of faith who found comfort and purpose in her Christian beliefs, and her life reflected the values she held dear. Her gentle spirit, warm heart, and steady presence made her a source of encouragement and comfort to her family and friends.

Phyllis was deeply devoted to her family, and nothing brought her greater joy than being surrounded by those she loved. She is survived by her children, Denise Craig (Steve), Bill Lang (Cathy), Diane Orlando (Scott), and Tim Lang (Denece). She was a proud and loving grandmother to Jordan Craig (Megan), Jacob Craig (Camryn), Joshua Craig, Brandon Lang, Adrian Montoya, Alana Clotworthy (Paul), Lucas Montoya (Mendy), Megan Chahine (Tarek), Alyssa Orlando, Ryan Orlando (Madison), Madison Lang (Diego), and David Lang.

Her love extended even further to her great-grandchildren, Lane and Lydia Craig; Esmeralda and Silas Clotworthy; and Ramzi Chahine, each of whom brought her great pride and happiness. She also leaves behind her sister, Linda Neph; her brothers, Donald Wisch and Daniel Wisch (Debbie) and is also remembered with love by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends whose lives were enriched by her kindness and presence.

The bonds she shared with her family were strong and enduring, and her legacy will continue through the generations who were blessed to know her.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gilbert Lang; parents, Ernest and Margaret Wisch; son-in-law, Allan Craig; and her twin granddaughters, Christina and Samantha Lang.

Phyllis will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, the strength she showed in every season of life, and the example she set through her faith and devotion. She had a way of making others feel welcome and cared for, and her family will forever cherish the many moments, conversations, and traditions that made her so special. Her memory will remain a source of comfort and inspiration to those who loved her. Though her earthly journey has come to a close, Phyllis Ann Lang’s spirit lives on in the hearts of her family and friends. Her life was a beautiful testament to faith, family, and unconditional love. Those who knew her will remember her with deep affection and gratitude, and her legacy will continue to shine through the lives of those she helped shape and love.
