Obituary of Lucille Elaine Tarkowski

Lucille Elaine (Blazejewski) Tarkowski of Bay City, passed away at the age of 94 on April. 7, 2024 after lingering illness.

For many years, Lucille enjoyed working in the retail industry, she loved to be with people.  After retiring in 2010, no matter where she went, someone would always recognize her as “Lou” from D & J Foodland. She also enjoyed and spent many hours reading.   She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Church in Bay City.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Laurie. She was predeceased by her husband, Ted, whom she married on September 12, 1959; a son, David; and her dearest uncle, Eugene Dominowski.

Her family would like to thank all of those who showed much care and compassion in the last few weeks of her life; the staff of Brian’s House, McLaren Hospice; and Sister Christine.
