Obituary of David Allen Avitts

David Allen Avitts of Owosso, MI passed away on April 12, 2024 after a prolonged illness. David grew up in Flint, MI and graduated from Flint Northern High School in 1977.  David was an archery enthusiast and an expert in all types of firearms.  He very much enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors in general. 

He is survived by his wife, Deborah; his children, Sean (Amber) of Gladwin, Shannon (Justin) Avitts - Brimley of Mason, and Ian (Mary) of Clare; six grandchildren; three step-children, AJ Adkins, Sarah (Justin) Bahrman, and Michael (Jennifer) Connor. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Merry Avitts.
