Obituary of Thomas Jay Miller

Miller, Thomas J. Saginaw, MI Thomas, age 71, passed away July 11, 2021. He was born February 27, 1950 in Saginaw Michigan to the late John D. and Lucille H. Miller. He has been a season ticket holder for the Saginaw Sprit’s since their inaugural season, and loved watching horse racing, the Red Wings, the Tigers, the Lions, golf, and bowling. More than anything, he loved the time spent with his grandchildren. He is survived by his spouse, Rita Miller; sons, Shaun (Hannah) Miller, Justin (Melissa) Miller; and Todd Miller; grandchildren, Jacob Buck, Elizabeth Miller, Aiden Miller, Beckett Miller, Brennley Miller; siblings, Shirley Eberlein, Sharon Basalone, Terry (Mary) Miller, Dennis (Shirley) Miller, Steve (Sandra) Miller; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Miller, Carla Young (Birney Williams), Tyra Denny, and Lona (Danny) Embry; brothers-in-law, Dale Merlone, and Clifford (Laura) Denny; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his siblings, John (Brenda) Miller, David Miller, and Connie Merlone; and brother-in-law, Tony Basalone. A Memorial Service is being planned for a later date.
