Obituary of Jeffrey John Steinpres

Steinpres, Jeffrey John Bay City MI Jeff Steinpres, age 56, passed with his family by his side on July 15, 2021 after a brief diagnosis of lung cancer. He was born in Saginaw Michigan on October 2, 1964 to Joann Steinpres and the late John Steinpres. He enjoyed playing golf, hunting, fishing, spending time with his family and friends, and especially riding around on his gator with his granddaughter Paisley. He was owner and operator of White Birch Hills Golf course. He is survived by his long time significant other, Lisa Comtois, daughter, Megan (Gregory) Kapp; son, Jeremy Comtois; granddaughters, Neena Comtois and 7 month old Paisley Grace Kapp; great-grandson, Jessye Martin; sister, Mary Fahnanstiel; brother-in-law, Tony (Laura) Comtois; sisters-in-law, Rhonda (Marlowe) Klopf ), Michelle Horwath, and Deanne Comtois; brother-in-law, Alfie (Rhonda) Lauria; mother-in-law, Naomi Lauria; uncle, John (Donna) Gauthier; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father-in-law, Bill Lauria; brother-in-law, Chip Horwath; and nieces, April Garcia and Jennifer Comtois. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM, August 8, 2021, at White Birch Hills Golf Course 360 Ott Road, Bay City, Michigan. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Memorial Contributions to the American Cancer Society. The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice and the Radiation Oncology Center for their wonderful care provided to Jeff.
