Obituary of Kenneth Alvin Kalnbach

Kalnbach, Kenneth A. Saginaw, Michigan Mr. Kalnbach, age 78, passed away peacefully at home and went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 18, 2021. He was born on August 11, 1942 to the late Karl and Phyllis (Oberlin) Kalnbach, in Newberry, Michigan. Kenneth was a member of the NRA, a charter member of Calvary Community Church in Bridgeport, Michigan, and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. After 31 years he retired from Baker Perkins, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with family and friends, and above all spending time with his grandchildren. Kenneth is survived by his wife Sharron (McKimmy) Kalnbach; 5 children, Kendall (Linda) Kalnbach, Korinna Sturdivant, Kenneth II, Kyle (Lori) Kalnbach, and Kimberly (Larry) Bennett. Also surviving are grandchildren, Zeb, J.D. Kasi, Kenneth III, Cherilyn, Zoe, Kyle II, Kasey, Alex and Koral; two great-grandchildren; his sister, Judy Hett; two sisters-in-law, Rosalyn (Glen) Fitzpatrick, and Laura McKimmy; two brothers-in-law, Don (Carla) McKimmy, and Ron (Sandy) Stephens; aunt, Lois Shufelt; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 PM, Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Calvary Community Church, 2895 E. Moore Road, Saginaw MI 48601. The family will receive friends at church prior to the funeral from 12 Noon – 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to the Wishes of the family.
