Obituary of Joan Mildred Culver

Culver, Joan M. Alma, MI Joan, age 83, passed away July 24, 2021 at her home with her family by her side. She was born March 14, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan to the late John L. and Medea L. Sikon of New Baltimore Michigan. She enjoyed reading her Bible, spending time with her family, and playing any kind of ball with her great-grandkids…IN THE HOUSE! She is survived by her children, John Hensley of Burnsville, NC, Gary Dale and Sheila Hensley of St. Louis, MI, Jeff and Nida Titchenell of Savanna GA, Troy and Vicki Titchenell of Shelby Twp., MI; Carol Guest of Pinconning, MI; Barbara Sappington of Essexville, MI; Jamie and Jennifer Sikon of Ludington, MI; and Debbie Gossett of Springfield, Ohio. She is also survived by her brother, James Sikon of Perrington, MI; 25 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Culver; daughter, Leslie B. Culver; sisters, Deloris Jean Sikon and Jenny K. Sikon; brothers, Robert Sikon, John Sikon, Jerry Sikon and Tom Sikon. A casual Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, August 5, 2021, at the Countryside United Brethren Church, 4762 S 11 Mile Rd., Breckenridge, MI 48615. Pastor Lee Rhoads will officiate. A luncheon will immediately follow the service, and interment will take place following the luncheon at Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Louis, MI.
