McCarthy, Louise Auburn, Michigan (formerly of Corner Brook, Newfoundland, Canada) Louise McCarthy, age 79, passed away July 30, 2021 surrounded by her family. Louise was born June 2, 1942 to the late John and Gladys Jones of Corner Brook Newfoundland. Louise enjoyed reading, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as the occasional casino outing. Louise was fondly referred to as Grandma Weezie, a title which she proudly earned from her great-grandchildren. Louise is survived by her children, Lydia Lalonde, Lee Alirez, Tina Zapata, and Lisa Rivera. She is survived by her grandchildren, Ryan Cook, John Magana, Titiana Zapata, Jared Lalonde, Jamie (Rivera) Bishop, Janelle Alirez, Janay Alirez, Trisha LaLonda, LJ Alirez, and Victor Zapata; and great-grandchildren, Kairi, Leah, Aria, Ryan, Lucas, Andrea and Matthew.Louise was predeceased by her husband, Dale William McCarthy; her parents, John and Gladys Jones; her sister, Mary (Jones) Hardy; and brothers, Lloyd Jones and Eric Jones.
