Obituary of Beverly Jane Uhrich

Beverly Jane (Moffit) Uhrich, age 84, of Saginaw, Michigan, and formerly of Chesaning, Michigan, peacefully passed away on Wednesday September 8, 2021, at her home. Beverly was born on May 5, 1937 in Chesaning Michigan to Earl and Frances Moffit. Bev was married to Henry Uhrich on July 15, 1972, and together they raised three children, Deborah, Michele, and Carl. Bev worked at Peet's Packing Company for many years before retiring. Upon retiring Bev enjoyed traveling, especially to Las Vegas, with Henry and her family and making frequent trips to the casino to play her favorite slot machine, video poker. Bev also enjoyed spending time with her family friends. Bev especially enjoyed baking and providing her family with goodies and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events, especially watching her grandsons play hockey. Bev was a caregiver her whole life and spent her time caring for everyone around her. Surviving is her daughter, Deborah Hensel; her daughter-in-law, Shari Bohn; son-in-law, Dale McNees; grandchildren, Justin (Brittney) Urbain, Brandi Conder, Kadie (Craig) Urbain, Justin (Brittany) Castanon, Brad McNees, Hailee (Daniel) Bohn, Alaedra (Anthony) Castanon, Brandon (Shelby) Braley, Dakota (Courtney) Bohn; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Victoria, Tucker, Jules, Blair, and Cash Urbain, Bristol Conder, Hunter Bissell, Conner Castanon, and Landon Braley; sister, Janet (John) Byam; sister-in-law, Judy Moffit; and many beloved nieces, nephews and friends. Preceding Bev in death were her parents, Earl and Frances Moffit; husband, Henry Uhrich; daughter, Michele McNees; son, Carl Bohn; brothers, Lloyd, Lyle, Miles, Eugene, and Richard Moffit; sister, Arlene Holden; and grandson, Brandon Urbain. A Celebration of Life ceremony will take place on September 19, 2021, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at 2195 S. River Rd., Saginaw, MI 48609.
