Obituary of Mitchell John Canfield

MItchell “Mitch” John Canfield Mitchell Canfield of Hale, Michigan peacefully passed away September 17, 2021. He was born in Pontiac Michigan, June 11, 1951, to the late Bryan Canfield and Margaret (Berghoefer) Canfield. He was known as a family man who loved to spend time with his wife, kids, and grandkids. He enjoyed fishing, building models, woodworking, playing poker and darts. He loved teaching his grandchildren the ropes of life and how to love unconditionally. He is survived by his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Vicki Canfield (Wood), who celebrated 49 years of marriage together, raising four children; Jeremy (Denine), Derek (Jessica), Alicia (Edward), and Natasha. He was the proud grandfather of Devin, Dajae, Dylan, Alyxes, Marshall, Kyler, Ora, Kaleah and Kennady; and two great-grandsons, Axel and Bentley, whom he loved dearly. Mitchell is also survived by his two brothers, James (Kathy) Canfield and David Canfield; three sisters, Kathleen Ferrier, Carol (Dave) Stadther, and Julie (Mike) Powers; along with many extended family.
