Obituary of Gary Lee Story

Gary L. Story passed away September 25, 2021. He was born February 10,1941 to Clarence and Flora (Randall) Story of Wheeler, MI. He graduated from St. Louis High School in 1958, then attended Central Michigan University and married Patricia Boyer December 7, 1963. He graduated with a Masters Degree in Business Administration in June of 1970. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed food, farming, hunting, fishing and teaching his daughters and grandchildren how to fix things. He also loved spending winters in Texas on the gulf. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and will be truly missed. He is survived by his wife Patricia; daughters, Angela (Cole) Swan of Ithaca, MI, Leslee Kennedy (Daniel Gammill) of Prairie Grove AR; grandchildren, Seth (Heather)Story, Garrick Swan, Barrett (Leidy)Carter and Kristine Carter Johnson (Dane); great grandchildren, Olivia and Avett; his brother, Bill (Carm) Story of Shields, MI; sister, Rosalie Solgat of Florence, WI; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Clem Solgat; and nephew, Mike Story.
