Obituary of Darlene Lee Lynn

Lynn, Darlene L. Birch Run, Michigan Darlene was born July 16, 1946, to the late Francis Edward McRae Sr. and Laura May McRae in Saginaw, Michigan. She passed away on October 23, 2021, at home surrounded by family. Darlene was 75 years old. She fought a hard battle with pancreatic cancer. She married Russell B. Lynn on August 28, 1965, and was married 56 years. She had three sons and a daughter. Son – Mark Edward Lynn (wife Ida), son – Matthew Russel Lynn (wife Christy), son – Michael James Lynn (wife Jessica), daughter – Wendy Marie Batterbee (husband Troy), nine grandchildren – Kristopher, Robin, Jaimee Jo, Brandon, Vincent, Kyle, Orion, Isaiah, and Eden, two great grandchildren – Abigail and Aalonah. Darlene had six Brothers and three Sisters, in-laws and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, and brother Michael James McRae. Darlene loved birds (especially humming birds), gardening, Thomas Kinkade, Hallmark movies, and travelling throughout Michigan especially to Mackinaw Island. She was an excellent cook and baked often for family and friends. She loved going to church every Sunday and praising the Lord. A Memorial Services will take place on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at Hopevale Church – 4873 N. Center Rd. Saginaw MI 48604 at 11:00am.
