Obituary of Betty Jean Brindley
Betty Jean Brindley, aged 77, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Mid Michigan Hospital, West Branch, Michigan. Betty was born on October 9, 1944 in West Branch Michigan to the late Joseph and Ethel Jean (Gove) Szucs, and was a life-long resident and a 1962 West Branch High School graduate. She was self-employed for most of her adult life, owning a craft store, restaurant, and an antique & collectibles business until the early 2000's. She enjoyed the fishing/camping trips with friends and family, reading James Patterson and Sue Grafton novels, and hitting garage sales and resale shops looking for treasures.
Betty is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Robert Lee Brindley of West Branch; daughter, Kari (Brad) Brindley-Taylor, grandson, Hunter; sister, Dianna (Greg) Fronk; brothers-in-law, Raymond (Linda) Brindley, Larry (Sally) Brindley, Keith (Joyce) Brindley, and Loren (Joyce) Brindley; sisters-in-law, Wanda Goss, Deloris Fogarsi and Donna Brindley; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews; long-time best friend, Shirley Coln; and fur baby, Sophie.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister-in-law, Lauretta (Albert) Grezeszak; and brothers-in-law, John Fogarsi and Russ Goss.
