Obituary of Robert Jon Pohlman

Pohlman, Robert "Bob" J. Bay City, Michigan Bob passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at 76 years of age. He was born November 2, 1944 in Saginaw to the late Robert and Marcella (Yelle) Pohlman. Bob was a Veteran and served his country in the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1968. Bob retired from General Motors - Grey Iron Casting of Saginaw in the late 80's. Bob was a very kind- and good-hearted man with a sharp memory that could make anyone laugh at a moment's notice. Bob was an avid hunter and fisherman in his younger years and especially enjoyed "opening day" with his son. Bob will be forever loved and forever remembered by his friends and family. Bob is survived by many loving individuals, including his two children, Robert Pohlman and Dawn Toner; his sister, Susie Langeneck; his brother, Jim Schwizburge; and his three grandchildren, Heather and Holly Toner and Tyler Munger. Also, his ex-spouse, Patricia. Bob was predeceased by his daughter Debbie Pohlman. To fulfill Bob's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place in the Spring of 2022.
