Obituary of Kevyn James Gilmore

Kevyn James Gilmore December 7, 1963 – November 24, 2021 Regrettably, Kevyn passed away on November 24, 2021 at his residence. Kevyn was born in Bay City, Michigan where he resided and attended school in Bangor Township. He joined the United States Navy in 1982 and served until 1986. He returned home briefly before he began wandering throughout the states. He settled in Texas for over 10 years and returned to Michigan in 2010. He began working for Local #1098 and earned his Construction Craft Laborer Certificate in 2018. He was currently employed at Walmart Supercenter in Bay City. Kevyn was an avid walker and could be found on many streets in the city and in the county. He also enjoyed doing yard work. His “teams” were the Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Tigers. He loved casino trips and scratching the instant Lotto Tickets. He is survived by his mother, Phyllis Anderson; step-father, Allan Gloden; step-mother, Elaine Gilmore; brothers, Keith (Glen) and Craig (Kimberly) Gilmore; half-sister, Abigail (David) Flewelling; several aunts and uncles; and his niece, Sophie Gilmore, who held a very special place in his heart. He was predeceased by his father, Roy Gilmore; grandparents, Vivian and Floyd Anderson and Eva and James Gilmore.
