Obituary of Thomas Walter Kline
A good man was called home. Thomas Kline left behind his devoted wife Debra of 46 years; two loving daughters, Jaime (Eric) Schaefer and Angela Kline (Chris McCullen); six adoring grandchildren, Keegan, Kaleb, Kalizay, Karliah, Katana and Kristopher; a younger brother, David Kline; sister-in-law, Geri Wagner, and an enormous number of friends that he claimed as family. Tom’s parents, Walter and Grace Kline; uncles, Thomas Thompson, and Russell and Janice Thompson all predeceased him.
Tom retired from General Motors/Delphi after 30 years of service. More recently he enjoyed working at Cabela’s. For anyone to have known Tom, (strangers included) you would know this man for the genuine happiness he put forth unto the world and his willingness to always lend a hand. Shining brightly with every smile, his eyes saw things in ways others never did. His jolly laugh and big white beard made him the perfect vessel when he adorned his red suit, to promote the joy of Christmas to all the children in his life. The gifts that God had given him did not stop with just sharing his happiness; he also had a passion for woodworking, strong political views and a love of being in the great outdoors. To lose this man, saddens the heart, and the only thing we can do as survivors is to cherish only the greatest attributes and share those gifts with the world as to never let his legacy die.
