Obituary of Joyce Marie Bellar

Joyce Marie (Hawkins) Bellar, age 70 of Corunna, went home to her reward in Heaven with her Savior and Lord, Jesus, on the morning of December 13, 2021, after a long battle with Alzheimers. She was born November 8, 1951 in Pineville, Kentucky to Edgar Marvin Hawkins and Daisy Marie (Miller) Hawkins. Joyce’s biggest passion was spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren. She loved singing and spending time with her church family at New Creation Church. Her other love was making beautiful items with her craft-ing skills. She is survived by her dearly loved husband, Donald Bellar; her loving children, Laura (Aaron) Roark of Parrish, FL, Paula Hoten of Owosso, Larry (Jennifer) Teller, of Metamora; her loving siblings, Edgar (Marlene) Hawkins, Barb (Gary) Rutterbush, Linda (Russ) Brown, David (Theresa) Hawkins, Carl (Deanna) Haw-kins, Marlene (Doug) Jenkins, Becky (Jerry) Montroy, and Tony Hernandez; her beloved 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren, with one on the way; many lov-ing nieces and nephews; and many more extended family members. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar Marvin Hawkins and Daisy Marie (Miller) Hawkins; her mother-in-law, Carolyn (Gregg) Bellar; and brother-in-law, David Bellar. A Memorial Service will be held at 4 PM, Friday, December 17, 2021, at New Creation Church, 1800 Corunna Rd., Owosso Michigan. A visitation will be held at church prior to the service from 2 – 3 PM. A dinner will follow at 5:30 PM to 7.
