Obituary of Lloyd Everett Cooper, Jr.

Cooper, Lloyd E. Jr. Saginaw, Michigan Lloyd, age 92, passed away at home December 14, 2021. He was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on March 2, 1929 to the late Lloyd E. and Charlette Cooper Sr. He was the Past President of the Breakfast Optimist Club, Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America, a 44 year member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Saginaw Lodge #82; and a member of the Small Business Association of Michigan. Lloyd was also the owner and President of Waco Building Products and Delta Window of Saginaw, Michigan. He was affectionately called “Tunce” by family and friends. He loved music, big bands, and barbershop quartet singing. He also loved fishing, boating, calling bingo, and his dogs. He is survived by his wife, Joy Ann; son, David; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert (Ann) Cooper; a sister, Susan (Lee) Kopt; extended sons, Thomas (Joyce) Green and Roy Green; daughters-in-law, Tammy Day, Patti Cooper, and Mary Cooper. He was preceded in death by three sons, Lloyd III, Thomas, and Daniel. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Memorial Contributions to the Valley Hospice Care or a charity of the donor’s choice.
