Obituary of Lloya Lee Torres

Lloya Lee Torres of Midland, MI passed away in the early morning hours of December 21, 2021 at the age of 79. She was born in Midland Michigan, January 29, 1942 to the late Lloyd and Virginia Parsons. Lloya retired from Dow Corning in 2009, after working there for 29 years. While at Dow Corning she successfully created her dream career position as a Travel and Meetings Coordinator. She greatly enjoyed traveling with her husband and family, being especially fond of her trips to New York, Las Vegas and the Bahamas. Lloya always brought a smile to everyone she came across, and sunshine everywhere she went. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ed Torres; son, Steve (Amy) Torres; grandchildren, Kenadee Torres and Macy Doster; and sister, Sheryl (Jim) Henson of Midland. The family has chosen to have a small private gathering to celebrate Lloya’s life.
