Obituary of Pequieta Vaness Comer
Pequieta Vaness Johnson-Comer of Saginaw Michigan was born on May 25, 1962 in Detroit, MI to the late Hezekiah Johnson and Betty Jean(Bond) Johnson On Monday December 27, 2021 the Lord decided it was time for Pequieta to leave her earthly body to live in her spiritual one. She was 59 years old. Pequieta enjoyed listening to music, gatherings with family and friends, spending time with her grandchildren, watching TV, crocheting blankets, and eating good food. Pequieta was educated in the Detroit Michigan school system, as well as some higher learning at Saginaw Michigan’s Delta College. Pequieta was a Domestic Engineer, she embodied all things home making. When her health permitted, she attended South 17th St. Church of Christ in Saginaw, Michigan.
She is survived by her daughter, Alethea J.L. Johnson; grand-daughters, Kellen Johnson and Dhariya Tigner; siblings, Olivia Smith, Anthony Johnson, Alethea K. Johnson, Brian Leonard, Kim Leonard, and Hezekiah Johnson; bonus mother, Vicki Johnson; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She also leaves behind a life partner, Ben Newson who cared for her for many years.
