Obituary of Alice Kathleen Sauve
Sauve, Alice K.
Sagianw, Michigan
Alice Sauve passed away on December 27, 2021 at the age of 73. She is now in heaven after a brief stay in Covenant Hospital. With her loving son, Scott, by her side she passed peacefully, thanks to the wonderful Covenant staff who were generous and kind during her time in the hospital. She was a warm and loving soul who appreciated beauty in the people she met and in the places she went. Known for her kindness and sense of humor, Alice enjoyed being with her family, friends and travelling (especially with her sister, Barb), and volunteering as both a “Big Sister” and at the Beacon of Hope LifeClinic. She was an animal lover who cherished her rescue cat, Lilly, and many other furry friends.
Alice was born on October 30, 1948 in Saginaw, to the late Arnie and Ada (Allan) Weber. She was baptized in St. John’s Lutheran Church, went to Bridgeport High School (Class of 1966), and studied at Delta College. Prior to joining Women’s OBG-YN, P.C., Alice was employed by C & O Railroad, and after retiring from Women’s she worked as a devoted and much-loved caretaker to make extra money for vacations and traveling.
She is survived by her son, Scott (Michelle) Sauve, her sisters, Barb Treib Luplow, Tracy Weber (Randy Bierlein), niece Shirley Wazny, nephew Tommy (Julie) Treib, the father of her son, Pete Sauve, many loving and special family members, including niece “her Katie” Hausbeck, God-daughter, Carlye Hausbeck, and many loved and dear friends.
A celebration of her life open house will take place from 3:00 to 7:00 on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at the Andersen Enrichment Center in Saginaw, where family and friends can gather to share stories and honor this amazing person we’ve been blessed to know and deeply love.
