Obituary of Gordon Thomas Parker

Gordon Parker, age 81, passed away December 30, 2021. Gordon was born to Gladys Irene (Boyce) Parker and Sanford Dawson Parker on May 27, 1940 in Flint, MI. Gordon served in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1961. Gordon worked for Ray’s Moving/United Van Lines in Flint for over 30 years. Gordon enjoyed spending time with his family, and fishing and hunting with his nephews. Gordon was predeceased by his parents; his two oldest brothers, Jerry and Howard; younger sister, Barbara; wife, Linda Libbey Parker; daughter, Mary Louise Parker; and son, Timothy Libbey. Gordon is survived by his daughter, Theresa (Ken) Snider of Rose City, MI; son, Terry (Cindy) Libbey of Flint; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; brothers, Sanford Parker of Newton, MS and William Henke of Mt Morris, MI; and many nieces and nephews.
