Obituary of Gertrude Evelyn Schneider

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertrude (Bae) E. Schneider of Coleman, Michigan. She passed away on January 4, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn, her family and friends. She is survived by her children, Donald A. Schneider, Debra A. (Tony) Shavrnoch, and Dawn M. (Steve) Gunlock; her grandchildren, Amanda (Brandon) Brown, Ashley (Jon) Ostrander, Tyler (Chelsea) Gunlock, and Brooke Gunlock; a great-grandchild, Addison; sister in-law, Julie Varshock & her children Nevada Walters & Sierra Walters; nephews, Glen (Faye) Krans, Neil (Dorothy) Krans, and Eric (Vista) Nelson; nieces, Claire (Richard) Neagly, Kay Parcher, Kirsten (Edward) Burdick, and Lisa Nelson; and her Siamese Himalayan cat, Buffy. She was predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Hilma (Peterson) Nelson; her spouse, Donald F. Schneider; and her siblings, William Nelson, Arthur Nelson, Jim (Andrea) Nelson, and Caroline (Edward) Krans. The family extends a special thank you to Les Hund and Lexi Jones for their special friendships.
