Obituary of Carol Lee Armes
Carol Lee Armes, of Rose City, Michigan passed away peacefully on January 7, 2022, at the age of 76. She was born on March 21, 1945, in Belmont, Massachusetts, to the late Wirt and Isabel Nulter.
Carol worked for the UAW before retiring and settling in Rose City with her husband. She enjoyed relocating to Northern Michigan due to the solace of the woods and the wildlife, especially the birds. Carol was a generous person that loved her family and friends. She was also creative and enjoyed crafting.
She is survived by her children, Kristopher Downs (Jayna Hanley) of Rose City, Michigan and Kelly (Matthew) Clark of Cary, Illinois; her sister, Nancy Nulter (Angelo Colace) of Medway, Massachusetts; her niece, Isabel Nulter of Medway, Massachusetts; and her twelve grandchildren. Carol was preceded in death by her husband Ruben Armes.
In accordance with Carol’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Plans are being made for her to rest beside her beloved husband Ruben, at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan with a private memorial service to take place at a later date.
