Obituary of Kristine Ann Alderton
Our beloved Kris Alderton of Midland, MI has gone to be with our Lord on February 7, 2022 at the age of 69. She was born Kristine Ann Wamback in Saginaw, Michigan, on September 6, 1952. Kris graduated from Douglas MacArthur High School and worked for General Motors for 37 years.
Kris was loved and cherished by many people including, her late parents, Paul Wamback, and Christine Riley (Klein) and Gene Riley; late husband, Jack Alderton; late brother, John Wamback (Sue); sister Sandy Altman (Dave), Penny Cook (Randy - deceased), and Cindy Riley Rideout (Dave); nephew, John Wamback (Penny); nieces, Kelly Miller and Amy Browning (Mike); nephew, David Altman (Monique); niece, Stacy Altman Doyle; nephew and God son, Joe Cook (Keith); nephew, Dan Cook; and niece, Cindy Cook; She was also loved and cherished by several great-nieces and nephews, as well as wonderful friends.
Kris had a great sense of humor, was very funny, and could always make you laugh. She was someone who could always be counted on and would share anything she had. Kris enjoyed shopping, traveling, movies, all kinds of music, and playing cards (especially Euchre). She loved spending time with family and friends, and was a loyal fan of both the Detroit Tigers and Lions. Kris’s Christian faith was very strong. She will be sorely missed by all of her loved ones, and all look forward to being reunited with her in Heaven.
Kris wished to be cremated, and no funeral services are planned. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to Midland’s Open Door, City Rescue Mission of Saginaw, or the charity of the donor’s choice.
