Obituary of Walter Levi Hildebrant

Hildebrant, Walter Saginaw, MI In the early hours of February 22, 2022, Walt passed away at the age of 65, after losing his 16-year battle with cancer. Walt was born on April 29, 1956, to Lawrence and Sylvia Hildebrant. He attended Swan Valley High School from 1970-1974. Following high school, he enlisted with the US Army, serving from 1976-1981, then continuing his service with the US National Guard until 1990. He graduated from Delta College with an Associate’s Degree, majoring in automotive repair. He loved fishing, building model cars, aeromodelling and flying RC Planes, rock music and most importantly, his family. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen (Francis) Hildebrant; his four sons, Justin Ryder, Neil Hildebrant, Lucas Hildebrant, and Scott Glover; his daughter, Tara Glover; his grandchildren, Kaidyn, Noah, and Hannah; 6 brothers, Joe (Vicky), Paul (Connie), Tim (Bea), Mark, Larry (Lori), and Pat Hildebrant; 3 sisters, Stella Tyler, Rose (Randy) Rowell, and Mary Poling; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his daughter, Jill Glover; and his two brothers-in-law, Richard Tyler and John Poling. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm, March 11, 2022 at Saginaw First Church of the Nazarene, 3000 Davenport Ave, Saginaw, MI 48602. The family will receive friends and loved ones at church prior to the service from 11 am – 12 Noon. A luncheon will follow the service.
