Obituary of Mark William Sawvel

Mark William Sawvel, age 56 of Chesaning, went to be with our Lord on March 2, 2022. He was born on April 14,1965 to Bill and Madeline Sawvel. He loved fishing, hunting and being outdoors. He also loved spending time with his family and friends and watching his grandchildren play sports. He is survived by his mother, Madeline Sawvel; girlfriend, Tracy Miller; children, David Hall, Jeremy Sawvel (Samantha Swarthout), Jessica Sawvel (Alex Adelberg), Mark Sawvel JR (Venessa Savage); sisters, Virginia Giesken (Andy), Tonya Cody (Chris), and Jodi Sawvel (Steve LaLone); 20 grandchildren; 4 nephews; and 2 cats, “Smokey” and “Gus”. He was predeceased by his father, Bill Sawvel; grandparents, Chester and Edith (Sands) Sawvel and George and Dorothy (Wixson) Courter. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Racy Free Methodist Church, 19983 W. Brady Road, Elsie MI, with a luncheon following at Chapin Township Hall, 21481 W.
